First date
It's ridiculous. She has no idea why she's so nervous.
Back at Barden, they'd never actually done this. Yeah, they'd gone out to dinner together, obviously, but they'd never really bothered dating. After that first kiss at Lincoln Center, they'd just sort of fallen into being together, completely. No awkward dinner dates required. Still, Jesse wants to start over, and Beca can see the wisdom in that. They both different people than the other one remembers. They need to figure each other out again.
She spent most of the day looking for a dress. Hopefully, he'll like this one. God. Why is she so nervous?

"And way more nudity," says Beca, sitting in the middle of his bed cross-legged.

Beca leans back against his chest, drawing her bare legs up as she eats her ice-cream. This feels so familiar it's hard to remember that anything's amiss.

He's making it really, really difficult to concentrate on the movie. She doesn't say anything but she does tilt her head to give him more room, her eyes still half focused on the screen.

For someone who's been obsessed with taking it slow, those feel like pretty serious kisses. Beca's terrified to do anything that'll stop him. She sighs, though, shifts backwards to press closer against him.

It's a pretty strong hint and Beca isn't going to wait to get it twice. She turns her head, catching Jesse's mouth with hers, just a light kiss at first, not pushing too hard.

Beca shifts, almost in his lap, her hand on his arm, palm against bare skin. She leans forward, unable to stop herself, because kissing him feels so good.

When Jesse doesn't give any signs of stopping, Beca wraps both arms around his neck, holding him to the kiss as she opens her mouth for his tongue. God, he feels good.

He leans backwards, pulling Beca on top of him, and she's quite happy to lean down into the kiss, her hair falling forward to curtain both of them as they kiss.

"Are you kidding me?" says Beca, huffing a laugh between kisses. "You can't kiss me like that and tell me I have to keep all my clothes on." She leans in, kissing him as deep as she can.

Beca rolls her eyes, taking a trio of quick kisses, pressing them to Jesse's mouth.
"God, Jesse, I want you. I can't help it," she says, kissing him again.

"I know. I've known ever since I serenaded you from my parents car that first day of school."

"It was later than that," says Beca, shifting against him a little, the thin cotton of his t-shirt doing very little to hide suddenly hard nipples. "Not much, but later."

"So when is the first time you realized he would totally sleep with me?"
no subject
Beca thinks about that for a second.
"The Riff-Off," she says, "Was the first time. Then when you made me watch the end of the Breakfast Club. I fought against it pretty hard but I was pretty done after that."

"It was awesome though, right?" she says, grinning, pushing her fingers into his hair as he kisses her skin. "Once everyone caught on. I still say you guys won on a technicality."
